A DAY of festivities is being planned at the Bakers Arms pub in Winchester on Sunday, July 20.
Landlord and landlady, Michael and Lynne Sinker, are marking 35 years in charge at the city centre watering hole.
Tucked in an alleyway between High Street and Market Lane, they came to the venue in summer, 1973.

At the time, a pint of Watneys Red Barrel at the pub cost 18p. Now, three and half decades later, most pints are hovering around the £3 mark.
To celebrate their continued stay at the venue, the Sinkers are planning a hog roast at the pub from 3pm. A disco is also planned for the later in the day.
Call the Bakers Arms on 01962 865860 for more details about the celebrations.
